Hanix (sometimes known as Nissan) brand is well recognized for its products Hanix mini excavators, which have a good following in the UK over the years. Company history can be traced back the time of the Handozer Industry Co Ltd in 1963. In 1980’s, company launched a range of mini excavators bearing the name Minex, these machines were later sold as Nissan, before eventually being branded as Hanix by the parent company Nagano based NKK. Hanix Europe is the brand name used by NKK of Japan for its mini excavator and compact wheeled loader lines marketed in Europe. NKK is a subsidiary of JFE Holdings, Inc., a corporation formed in 2002 with the merger of NKK (Nippon Kokan, unrelated to Nihon Kaiheiki) and Kawasaki Steel Corporation.
