Kato is an industrial machinery brand owned by Kato Works Co., Ltd., which is a Tokyo, Japan based company manufactures and sales mobile cranes, construction machineries and industrial equipments. It was founded in 1895. In 2016, Kato acquired IHI Construction Machinery Limited (Current KATO HEAVY INDUSTRIES CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY CO., LTD.) and changed company name from IHIIMER S.p.A. to KATO IMER S.p.A.
